Down Linda Ikeji’s Blog Over Copyright Infringement
claims
Nigerian blog queen Linda Ikeji was accused of copyright
infringements by social media analyst @MrAyeDee
@MrAyeDee informed the general public that Google has
finally responded to his protest about Linda Ikeji using his
content without compensating him or giving recognition
to the original author along with other infringing works of
other authors. Linda’s personal blog has been estimated to make
over N120million annually (ads and sponsored posts)
and is also listed among Nigeria top 10 most visited sites
on alexa.com .

Scientists Reveals Possible Cure For Deadly Ebola Virus

A plant has been found to halt the deadly Ebola virus in its tracks in laboratory tests, scientists have said. They used a compound from Garcinia kola (Bitter Kola), a plant commonly eaten in West Africa. Compounds from the plant have also proved effective against some strains of flu. If the anti-Ebola compound proves successful in animal and human trials, it will be the first medicine to successfully treat the virus that causes Ebola haemorrhagic fever – an often-fatal condition. The discovery was announced at the 16th International Botanical Congress in St Louis in the US. Traditional origins Dr Maurice Iwu, who set up and heads the Bioresources Development and Conservation Programme, led the research.
