A new born baby was found laying dead in a dustbin at Hilltop Gate adjacent St Peters Chapel UNN this morning July 30th. No one around the area saw who dropped the baby. A river in eastern China turned blood red overnight and investigators aren’t completely sure why. Residents living in Wenzhou, a commercial city in the Zhejiang Province, saw the river change to crimson Thursday morning, China Radio International reports . People told CRI the river was flowing normally at 4 a.m. but  rapidly turned a scary shade of red at about 6 a.m. A villager who has lived there his entire life said he’d never seen the river turn red before. ABC News reported that residents also experienced a strange smell in the air as the river changed color. Residents in Zhejiang province said the river looked normal at 5 a.m. Beijing time on Thursday morning. Within an hour, the entire river turned crimson. Two men, Jonathan Nwogu from Mgboko Umuola in Obingwa LGA of Abia state and Chibuike Anubuife from Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State were arrested by the Abia state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC while trying to bury the corpse of a 3 year old girl in an abandoned pit in Osisioma, near Aba on Wednesday July 16th, Vanguard reports.  Parading the men before newsmen, the state commandant of the NSCDC, Andy Dateer, said the men were apprehended at Enyimba petrol station near Ariara International market, Aba as they tried to put the young girl's corpse in a sack for burial. Details of the 19 new states proposed by the ongoing National Conference t be created in addition to the 36 already in existence have been identified. This was contained in the documents obtained Saturday. For the proposed Edu State, which will be created out of the present Niger State, it will be made up of Agagie, Bida North, Edati, Agbakoba, Katcha, Lapai, Labun and Mokwa Local Governments with its capital in Bida. Apa State will be carved out of the present Benue State and made up of Agatu, Apa, Otukpo, Oju, Obi, Obi, Ohimini, Okpokwu and Ofbadigbo Local Government Areas with capital in Otukpo. If Kainji State is created, it will be created from the present Kebbi and Niger states and it will be made up of Danko/Wasagu, Fakai, Zuru, Shanga, Sakaba, Nhaski, Yauri, Rijau, Mariga, Magama, Kontagora, Agwara, Borgo and Mashefu Local Governments. 63 women out of 70 women who were reported to have been abducted by Boko Haram men in Borno state between June 12th - June 14th have regained their freedom. Reports by government sources as well as members of the Borno state vigilante group confirmed their escape. The Nigerian military released a statement today stating that they killed over 50 terrorists yesterday after a daring attack on a military base in Damboa, Borno state. Onwuzuruike Nwakaogwu, a 41-year-old commercial bus driver, suspected cultist, kidnapper and ritualist, has been arrested with a human skull. Confessing his crime, he revealed the identity of the deceased whose skull was found with him as Victoria, adding that he was involved in a cult group popularly called ‘Dey-Well’ at Igwuruta village, Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers State.
